Become a member of a growing community that has the ability to change lives.
There are plenty of ways for you to plug in and become part of the HelpRoot community:
If you have a need or know of a need, you can
post it directly to HelpRoot. You don't even have to join HelpRoot to do this. We do require a contact name, email address, and phone number so that potential sponsors may contact you to better understand the situation and the need you have posted. Your contact information is only available to organizations registered with HelpRoot.
After you post a need, it will be available for registered organizations (like churches, nonprofit organizations or charity organizations) to review. You may receive emails or phone calls from these potential sponsors (a 'sponsor' is an organization that agrees to help with a need). It's okay, they're trying to find out whether they have the resources to fulfill your need. Be open and honest with them - the right organization will soon take on your need as a project. Once an organization has sponsored you - you might see volunteer opportunities related to your needs here on HelpRoot.

From all of us here at HelpRoot, thanks for your willingness to help others. We think you're awesome! As you may have already discovered, you can search and read about projects on HelpRoot without joining. Once you're ready to apply to help with a project we'll ask you to join - which requires telling us a little bit about yourself - like your skills, talents and how you can help others. Here's the
sign up form if you'd like to get it out of the way right now.
Being a member of the HelpRoot community is completely free. Being a member allows you to apply to help with projects and also gives project sponsors (those organizations that lead volunteer projects) the ability to contact you should they have an opportunity that matches your skills - or respond to an application you've filled out to help with a project.
If you're looking for a better way to manage volunteer projects and find qualified volunteers - we think you're going to like HelpRoot. For a small monthly fee, you can manage unlimited volunteer based projects, promote them on your Web site and through HelpRoot.com - plus have volunteers find you!
See which plan fits your needs best.
When you purchase a HelpRoot plan, you gain the benefit of having your own private place on the web where you can manage your own volunteer projects, see other needs people have posted and communicate with volunteers you're working with. If you already have a Web site for your organization, you can easily link over to your HelpRoot powered web pages for any project information you'd like to post to the web. If you don't have a Web site (or email) solution, HelpRoot's robust tools can help you create and maintain a Web site too - all without knowing html code. See the
available plans.
If you just want to keep up with what's going on at HelpRoot -
sign up to receive periodic updates via email. It's free and you can change your subscription preferences or unsubscribe at any time in the future.
